Our Vision

Who We Are

M.T.E. Society (MTES) is founded in 1945 by Late Shri. Dhondumama Sathe along with Hon’ble Shri. Datto Waman Potdar, Shri. Pudmjee, Shri. C.G. Agashe, Shri. M. V. Bhide, Shri. M. V. Shah, Shri. R. G. Sule and others, at Pune, Maharashtra.

Our founder, Late Shri. Dhondumama Sathe, had a vision for providing educational facilities to the youths of the land, so that they will become real value pillars of the Nation. At the time when India got freedom, our visionary founder dared to start an engineering college in the area, which was & is predominantly known as agricultural zone. In year 1947 The New Engineering College was established at Sangli, latter it was renamed as M.T.E. Society’s Walchand College of Engineering in 1955.

In 1971, M.T.E. Society established Homeopathic College in the name of its late founder Shri. Dhondumama Sathe. At the same time M.T.E. Society also strated Nyaymurthy Madhavrao Ranade Memorial Homeopathy Hospital and Sanjeevan Multispecialty Hospital in Pune.

In year 2016 another milestone was achieved by MTE Society, when under the visionary leadership of the 21st century, Shri. Prithvirajji Deshmukh, Chairman of the society, MTE Society’s Jr. College was inaugurated at Pune Campus.

MTES Jr College will be the First and Best choice of students to seek admission & for developing relationships, maximizing potential, and improving the quality of life of all associated with the college.

Head of Junior College

I am very fortunate to work with such dedicated, innovative and caring Management, Staff members, Parents and zestful Students. I find each day an adventure filled with new experiences, learning for all, and a chance to constantly widen our horizons. It always gives me a great pleasure to see the sea of smiling faces of our students and I must admit that on many days it is the students who make my day a little bright.
